The beauty industry has a packaging problem.

In Australia, it’s estimated that more than 10,000 tonnes of cosmetic waste goes to landfill every year.

Tiny pumps. Droppers. Bottles. Lids. Mixed materials. Products we never quite finish.

We thought skincare could do with a little less of all that and so we're starting small, quite literally.

One Pop. One application.

Every Skin Pop contains one perfectly measured application, individually sealed until you’re ready to use it.

And that little capsule? It isn’t a conventional single-use plastic.

Our capsule shells are made using materials such as gelatin and plant-derived polymers including HPMC and pullulan, depending on the Pop and production batch.

They’re designed to hold and protect the formula without requiring another tiny plastic bottle, pump or dropper for every application.

It's a small thing, but a big part of why Skin Pops exists.

Keep the jar. Refill the pops!

Those Skin Pops jars were never intended to be a one-and-done situation. They’re keepers.

Our 60-Pop refill pouches contain enough Pops to refill your original jar twice, so you can keep the jar you already have rather than replacing the entire pack every time.

Less replacing. More refilling.

60 Pops. Two full refills.

Re-use Me!
  • The box has a plan too

Our product cartons are sourced from FSC-certified suppliers, supporting more responsible sourcing of paper and forest-based materials. Our recyclable paper-based packaging has also been designed with its next life in mind. Because beautiful packaging is lovely but beautiful packaging that knows when to leave is better.
  • Even the postie bag.

We look at the little things too. From compostable shipping mailers and postage labels to recyclable paper packaging, we're continually looking for ways to reduce unnecessary conventional plastic and make better choices throughout the journey from us to your bathroom. Will we get everything perfect on day one? No. Will we keep looking for better options? Absolutely.

And then there’s the Pop Pouch.

Our reusable Pop Pouch is made with wheat straw fibre, a renewable plant-based material made using the stalks left behind after wheat is harvested.

It’s an alternative to using conventional pure plastic for the case and gives an agricultural by-product another useful job.

Use it. Travel with it. Reuse it.

Preferably many, many times.

Plant-based

Not sure what to do after you Pop?

Squeeze out the full dose and put the empty capsule in general waste. Don’t put capsules down the sink.

Keep the jar, reuse your pouch and check your local council’s guidance for paper packaging.
